News in Film: This Fall 2011 Nishi is to play an alien assassin in new Sci-Fi feature No One Lives Forever for U.S. Filmmaker Joseph Villapaz. FILM TRAILERS Sid's Paralysis In December 2010, Nishi completed filming the independent feature film, Sid's Paralysis, directed by the award-winning Pakistani and British-American director Babar Ahmed (see Wikipedia & IMDB, and co-starring Anup Sugnanan. The fim is a supernatural horror thriller in which Nishi co-starred as the lead, Kareena, a young woman who becomes possessed. The film is set to be released in late-2011 and has been making the festival circuit. Watch the trailer at http://youtu.be/qoCihSKA98A (Embedding Not Enbaled) The Process In February 2011, Nishi filmed her starring role in an independent thriller short film, The Process, as Tessa Long - a neuorotic photographer whose passion for her craft isolated her from everyone she loved and caused her to break the law and commit burglary and assault. Directed by Temple University student Ethan Saachi on location in Philadelphia, who wrote & filmed this movie independent of his school curriculum and as a private endeavor. The film co-starred Clayton Stocker-Meyers and Maria Jacinta. |
